Overview

Pochero Kinaraan, nestled in the heart of Cebu City on F. Gochan Street, offers a warm refuge for those craving hearty, home-cooked Filipino fare. Specializing in dishes like their signature pochero and kinopsan, this unpretentious restaurant serves up comforting meals that evoke the flavors of traditional Filipino kitchens with a fresh Cebuano twist.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the pochero. Tender cuts of meat swim in a rich, savory broth, perfectly balanced by the tangy zing of kalamansi and the salty kick of ginamos and sili, creating a harmonious medley that lingers with every bite. Alongside this is the kinopsan, valued for its crispy yet fatty texture that adds a delightful crunch to the meal.

Seafood lovers will find themselves spoiled with offerings like buttery garlic shrimp, scallops draped in garlic sauce, and surprisingly indulgent crabs — all served fresh and bursting with flavor. These dishes have won praise for their generous portions and satisfying quality, making each visit feel like a genuine Cebuano culinary experience without the fuss.

While the ambiance is straightforward and modest, reflecting the focus on food rather than decor, it's a place designed for locals and visitors alike seeking affordable comfort food, especially during late-night cravings. The welcoming, no-frills space complements the approachable menu, catering mostly to those who prioritize taste and value over lavish surroundings.

One area to improve is ventilation, as noted by customers, but this minor flaw does little to detract from the overall experience. For anyone looking to indulge in well-prepared Filipino classics that deliver both satisfaction and warmth, Pochero Kinaraan stands out as a beloved spot in Cebu’s bustling food scene.

If you're ever hit with a midnight craving for something hearty, comforting, and full of flavor, Pochero Kinaraan is the spot to check out! I ordered the regular pochero, and wow it did not disappoint. The meat was tender, the broth rich and savory, and the experience leveled up when paired with ginamos, sili, and kalamansi. That combination hits all the right notes: salty, spicy, sour, and deeply satisfying. I also tried their kinupusan and humba both were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and budget-friendly. The kinupusan had that perfect crispy-fatty texture, and the humba was sweet, garlicky, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Affordable, delicious, and open for those late-night cravings Pochero Kinaraan is definitely a go-to spot if you're looking for comfort food that hits the spot without hurting your wallet.

Food was great. I tried their pochero, humba and scallops. It really tasted good. Although the place isn't that great but if you're really just looking for a place that has good food with a reasonable price? Then, Pochero kinaraan is the right place. Their food prices ranged from 150-250pesos

24hrs open. we went out after our shift. we arrived around 8am. the food takes time to be cooked, we waited maybe around 30mins before it was served, so just order right away. their canton is really yum, we ordered lechon belly but it looks like lechon kawali, maybe it's the same thing? hahah. it's cooked well. and of course their Pochero too.

I love how they bring us back to our childhood years through their foods.. Money wise Nice service and it feels so homy despite of things that needs improvement with the place like their ceiling, walls and their other menus you can see on the wall.. Super Worth it. The place is congested and old but it doesn't matter because the foods are excellent as well as the service! It took time to prepare and serve but it's all worth the wait!
